Aloha Hawaii Vacationers,

The car rental companies I represent, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Thrifty and Enterprise, usually provide me with their next year’s Hawaii Car Rental Rates at scattered times in the fall of the previous year. That time is fast approaching. As they come in to me, I’ll post the 2012 rates on a 2012 Hawaii Car Rental Rates page. Keep checking Hawaii Car Rentals home page and 2011 rates page for a 2012 link.

Though some car model rates don’t usually increase from one year to the next, rates for other model sizes seems to increase substantially going into the next year. But don’t be alarmed by the higher 2012 Hawaii Car Rental rates when you see them. They always come down once some competition sets in. My advice to you is to hold off until all the companies give me their rates, which will undoubtedly be lower. Then, you might want to even wait a bit longer because once all the rates are in, they always tweak them for a while leading up to the end of the year. I’m making this post at the end of May 2011 and I have to tell you that ALL the car rental companies have continually lowered their 2011 Hawaii rental car rates from the day they gave them to me last fall.

Don’t hold me to this, but as far as the bonuses available by renting through my website go (such as Additional Drivers Free, Spouse Drives Free, Domestic Partner Drives Free, lowered Age 21-24 surcharge fee and Cash Accepted), they seem to be carrying over from one year to the next but with only slight variations. I’m hoping they will all remain in place in 2012. We’ll see though. The 2011 perks, though not available with every car rental company I represent include: 2 Additional Drivers Free, Spouse Drives Free, Domestic Partner Drives Free, Age 21-24 add $10 to $20/day, Cash Accepted to pay the bill.
Please let me know if you have any questions. I’m happy to help.
