Hawaii Car Rentals is an authorized wholesale corporate discount vendor of 8 passenger Sport Utility Vehicle rentals for Avis Rent A Car and Budget Car Rentals. Through these two companies, we rent 8 passenger SUVs on Kauai and Maui. These large SUV's are typically Chevrolet Suburbans or similar. 8 passenger SUVs are not available at this time at the Honolulu Airport or in Hilo or Kona on the Big Island. If available, you may request an upgrade to an 8 passenger SUV when you arrive. 

Because of our high volume, we get discounts and waivers that are not available to the general public on retail rental sites so we can offer you not only 8 passenger SUVs, but smaller SUV's and various car sizes as well in Hawaii at the cheapest rates possible. We are happy to pass our corporate discounts, waivers, bonuses anmd free coupons on to you. That way you get low rates, more cars are rented, and we get a commission - everybody wins! 

Motoring around the Hawaiian islands in a premium Chevrolet Suburban 8 passenger SUV is a really fun thing to do. Lots of people want these large seating capacity luxury vehicles so they are in high demand and very popular. Because of this and also economic cutbacks, the car rental companies have a limited inventory of 8 passenger SUVs. In addition, some of the car rental companies hold back or block out SUVs during what is called blackout dates during high demand or holiday seasons. Because of all of the above, it all boils down to the fact that you should request a reservation as early as possible and we'll do our best to secure one for you. There is no charge to reserve and you can cancel the reservation any time if you don't find that we have the best and cheapest SUV rates in Hawaii.

When you inquire or make a reservation for an 8 passenger Chevrolet Suburban SUV through our Hawaii SUV reservation form, you will actually be inquiring and/or booking directly with Avis or Budget and you will be emailed a reservation confirmation number during regular Monday through Friday Honolulu business hours. If you are informed that no SUVs are available, be sure to return to our Rates Page to see if another car size suits you, perhaps a 12 passenger van or a 15 passenger van?

SUVs are available at Hawaii SUV locations such as: Lihue, Kauai (LIH), Lahaina - Kaanapali, Maui (JHM), Kahului, Maui (OGG).. 

The above Base Rates are Budget rates. 
If Budget is sold out, we will try to get you an Avis 8-Passenger SUV. 
Please note that Avis base rates are only an additional $2/day, $10/week, all seasons.
