VIII. GASOLINE OPTIONS

At the time of rental, customers choose one of two gas options depending on what is most convenient for them.  In either case, the car is always rented with a full tank of gas.

A. Option A (ALAGAS) - The renter prepays for a full tank of gas at the start of the rental.  The price per gallon is competitive with the full service prices at local gas stations (plus any taxes that apply).  No refunds on unused portion.

B. Option B (GAS/GAL) - Prior to returning the car, the customer must either stop and fill the gas tank or pay Enterprise to refuel it for them upon return.  If the renter chooses to have Enterprise refuel the tank upon return, the renter only pays for the fuel used, but at a price which is substantially higher than the Option A gas or what the local gas stations typically charge.

IX. INFANT CAR SEATS and GPS (Not Available at all locations)

A. Hawaii State Law requires use of infant car seats for children under four (4) years of age.  Customers are responsible for securing child seat in the rental vehicle.

Law compliant infant seats are available on request on all islands at the time the reservation is made, for $8.95 per day or a $44.95 max per rental.

In the event an infant seat has been lost or stolen, a $70 charge will be applied to the rental.

B. Garmin Street Pilot GPS systems are available at the counters in Hawaii . Rental fee is $10.95 per day or $59.95 per week.

X. SEAT BELTS

A. Hawaii State Law requires the use of seat belts for driver and front seat passengers at all times.

B. Hawaii State Law also requires all backseat passengers between the ages of four (4) and seventeen (17) to use seat belts.

XI. HAND CONTROLS

A. We will confirm a request for hand controls with 48 hours if the request is made between noon Sunday through noon Friday.  The failure to provide us with a timely request for hand controls may mean we cannot fulfill your request if hand controls, trained personnel to install the hand controls, or vehicles suitable for installation of hand controls are not readily available due to the untimely request.  If you intend to cancel your reservation, we request that you contact us so that we may remove the hand controls following your cancellation.

B. At the time of a request for hand controls, in order to more readily accommodate you, please advise us whether the hand control should be installed on the left or the right side of the steering wheel.

C. Hand controls can only be installed in specific car models, following examples:

§  Chevrolet Monte Carlo (2 door full-size)

§  Chevrolet Impala (4 door full-size)

§  Dodge Charger

§  Minivan

D. We recommend that individuals with disabilities who use a wheel chair and who are traveling alone request a 2-door vehicle.  We have found, through experience, that such customers can more easily store the wheel chair in the rear seat as compared to a 4-door.

XII. JEEP WRANGLER TOP REMOVAL

The Jeep Wrangler top/windows are removable.  If renter elects to remove and/or lower any windows or the top, the renter is responsible for reinstalling same prior to return of the vehicle.

XIII. COURTESY SHUTTLE SERVICE AVAILABLE AT MOST LOCATIONS. (Geographic restrictions apply.)

All pick-up arrangements for the courtesy shuttle should be made directly with the appropriate rental station.
